Cómo Nace El Universo
Gloria Trevi
How the Universe is Born
Have you noticed that sometimes the moon rises during the day
But the sun never rises at night
Do you know why?
Sometimes the sun talks to the moon
And the moon, who adores him, goes with him
She sneaks out of the night
Because the night has forbidden her
To see him again
And it's because the sun has bad intentions
He never faces the night
He's a vagabond, adventurous and capricious
He's a madman who will only make her cry
But the moon, who doesn't understand reasons
Rises, but the sun will leave
He always checks on her from afar
She sends him a thousand kisses
She truly loves him
Because the moon, like no other, loves him
And the moon, like no other, is with him
Because the moon, like no other, surrenders to him
And faces whatever comes
Only the moon, like no other
Truly loves him
Sometimes the sun talks to the moon
And lets her come to him
And they create an eclipse, he burns her
She allows it, surrenders to him
Regardless of what others may say
But in the end, the sun always leaves her
When he feels like it, he will talk to her
While she endures the reproaches of the night
Because the moon will shine from so much love
And the night will try to hide it
From the universe and space
That her daughter went astray
Yet the night will pale
And the earth will light up
When the stars are born
God's blessing to the love
Of the moon for the sun
There's no planet that loves the sun more
Or rises during the day
Like the moon, driven mad by love
