Hello, God, how have you been today?
I write you this letter because I have some questions
That have caused me great concern over the years
And I hope you can clarify each situation

Today, I saw some people arguing about
Not agreeing on the interpretation
Of the words that the Bible carries within
Maybe because they speak in parables, I suppose

Although the other day I also saw on TV
That radical Muslims killed three
Bloggers who were atheists in Bangladesh
For opposing beliefs and attacking faith

I think you should tell us which book is right
If the Torah, the Quran, the Bible, to prevent
People from living wrong or creating conflicts
Out of nothing and to avoid deaths in your name
What do you think?

It's been a while and I haven't received a response
I suppose you're busy, hopefully taking care of the planet
Although it makes me doubt that I can't see what
You do because no one has seen you and those who said so were sent to the asylum

But still, I hope there's a reason because
Every human misunderstands you, and I understand why
What I don't understand is what you intend by hiding
Do you know what has caused people to believe by faith?

If heaven and hell exist, who will you see burn?
Seriously, all those who never followed
Every commandment dictated by your faith
But what about all those who could never believe?

In the true re-li-gion because
Of being born in another nation
And if belief doesn't matter then what reason
Is there to allow religious people to be your voice?

Today so many people die of hunger, but it seems you haven't noticed
It seems that every prayer they send doesn't reach heaven
And stays flying on earth, in the air, because you haven't listened
Or if you have, I think you haven't cared

Free will is what some have called it
And this causes you not to stop the bad
Even if it's an armed rapist
I think your role there would be to watch silently

And some blame the devil because evil exists
Did you also give free will to bother?
How come you, being omnipotent, don't stop it already?
How come, being benevolent, you allow evil?

Not defending the world when you could
Has made you then an accomplice of this evil
But now that I've thought about it
Maybe you're not evil, just another invention
