Despues de la muerte
Green A
After death
Imagine you have died and it turns out it's true
That there is a deity and it will condemn you
Because you worshiped a God that never existed
Your religion lied, it was a total deception
Would it be fair?
They instilled in you to believe
You couldn't choose
To your liking
You must know
They taught you without seeing
Because their belief too
They inherited at birth
That's why
And if there is no afterlife?
How would it make you change?
Would it affect your life and your day if
That were the truth?
Imagine you believed there was some God
No matter which one or the religion
But when you die you discover it never existed
It never existed
You wasted your time
And you never wanted
To doubt the things
That you took for granted
You try and try to go back
To seek freedom
But it's too late and time won't come back
Because death won't negotiate
That's why
And if there is no afterlife?
How would it make you change?
Would it affect your life and your day if
That were the truth?
Imagine in your life you didn't
Believe there was a God
But when you die you see that it always existed
God didn't try to say: Look, here I am
No
You're not to blame because you saw
So many liars, so many religions
All differing on how God is
Joyfully shouting that their creator
Was the true one among a million
And no, no, no, no that couldn't be
The so divergent apology made you disbelieve
That's why
And if there is no afterlife?
How would it make you change?
Would it affect your life and your day if
That were the truth?
