Why, my brother?
How many times have I cried alone
There were days when the sun hid from me!
In deep, dark abysses, I screamed!
And no one heard you?
Understood you?
No! No one wanted to hear
Understand my plea!
And my soul descended
To the depths of horror!
But there, brother, someone heard you!
Who was it? I don't know!
How many times did he speak to you
Reached out his hand, shouted your name
In the deep abysses
He called you
And why didn't I hear then?
Is it because even there,
In your world of pain
You insist on staying without Jesus, the Lord!
How much time I've lost,
oh, my God! It's not too late, brother
How many times I
Who wandered alone
Who in sunless days was crying
Now I can happily start singing!
For how many others, there's only crying,
in Jesus the smiling, come find again?
