Pen and paper
With the guitar in hand and the inspiration doesn't come,
I am so alone, I feel so sad,
Because you are not here.

Pen and paper,
Bottle of wine and my empty heart,
Loneliness and anguish, my saddest song
How sad it makes me.

How I wish to turn the page and start anew,
From that story of the purest love I once lived,
