This is how my past looks
A few years back
When I was just starting out
Always out looking for something
With my wallet empty
And a smile for the picture
I barely slept thinking
What I wanted would come
But I didn’t know when

Time gave me answers
About why some
Left the process
My mom said a prayer
Gave me a few bucks
I won’t let her down
I won’t forget the ranch
And whether little or a lot, it won’t change me

The times I’ve fallen
I get back up
And over in Guadalajara
I go out for a spin
The night begins
When I step out for a stroll
I always bring my girl
And personally

Times have changed
And those who stayed
Know in detail
What it cost us
No one came to give me anything
I learned to earn
I’ve stopped worrying
About what they will say
As long as he up there wants
I’ll keep on in the ring
While the whole world spins
I’m focused on what I want

I distanced myself from distractions
Because my goals need more attention
Luck and my decisions
Sometimes teach me lessons

How nice it is to talk
