So what if it was a C-section or natural birth?
So what if I didn't make it to 9 months?
I didn't carry the weight of the backpack
And she put my interests first
Before hers

So what if I was too young to conceive?
If she ignored the advice
Thanks to that, I can celebrate
And show off to the world being the son
Of the most beautiful woman

And now, if you'll excuse me
For this poorly arranged letter
But how do you tell mom
How much you love her?

To me, giving her a star seemed little
If that doesn't show how much I love her
And it seemed so little to give her a pearl from the sea
I would buy it gladly
But I know her and I know she's not materialistic
