Today I woke up in the early hours
With an overwhelming urge to cry
I told Holy Christ to speak to me
And His Divine Spirit came to comfort me

I see so many failing you, I don’t want to go on

Always look ahead, the goal is close
God is preparing you to use you
He wants to give you the best, so much to offer

Singers, pastors, and evangelists
Many haven’t been able to carry on
They love the world, and I gave my life for them
And before my eyes, they practice wickedness

But you keep moving forward

Keep fighting, don’t be a coward

The devil asked to shake them up
Tell them to walk with courage
Tell them not to rejoice in miracles
But to rejoice if their name is in God’s book
