Jesus was walking
On the road to Jerusalem
He was going up the mountain
To pray to the Father
When about to take
On the cross my sins
And my faults
Upon Himself
Tears from His face
Begin to fall
Showing the sadness
That comes from the heart
Sadness that reveals
All His suffering
This was the price
For my forgiveness
The sun sets
And the night brings loneliness
Enveloping everything
In its dense, dark veil
Into the hands of the Father He entrusted all
Saying then:
Thy will be done here
As in heaven
After He fulfilled

Showing the way
That leads me to God the Father
