There is a path we have to follow
Someone important appointed it
Life is like smoke that vanishes
Just like the rose that withers and falls
Life may seem long here
But death is perfect, we can't escape
But the grave is an illusion for us
That important someone passed through it
And still says that one day we will rise from it
Jesus will come and take us to heaven
Where will the signs of pain be
When the Son of Man takes us to heaven
And where will our tears be
When Christ finally comes to fetch us
Many in pain today cry for those
Who departed from this world to the world beyond
But in Christ we have the Hope to see
Our departed brother forever live
And in a meeting of unmatched pleasure
We will see our final victory
When the last enemy dies we will hear a song
And those who have fallen asleep will awaken forever
And there will be no more tears, all fear will fade away
And there will never be sadness, for with Christ we will reign at last
