When I cross the Sea of Galilee
A hymn of victory I will sing!
Then, I will bend my knees
With tears in my eyes I will say
Thank you very much for your love!
A hope is born within my heart
Like the sound of many waters
I hear the voice of my beloved Lord
Only the Lord is God!
Only the Lord is God!
Let us sing with great joy, saying that only the Lord is God!
Israel left Egypt
It was God's command
Arriving at the Red Sea
All Israel feared
High mountains from all sides
Moses answered them
Do not fear, O Israel. Only the Lord is God!
And Moses commanded the sea
Which immediately obeyed
Israel passed through on dry land
By the power of God
But Pharaoh's entire army
Perished in the sea
Miriam sang saying
Only the Lord is God!
