Israel left Egypt
It was God's command
Arriving at the Red Sea
All Israel feared
High mountains from all sides
Moses answered them
Do not fear, O Israel. Only the Lord is God!
And Moses commanded the sea
Which immediately obeyed
Israel passed through on dry land
By the power of God
But Pharaoh's entire army
Perished in the sea
Miriam sang saying
Only the Lord is God!
