It causes surprise for many nowadays
To revisit stories that time did not take away
Like the disciples who left their nets
Their bread, their life, and followed Jesus
And many of them, certainly the majority
Did not have a good life, but exchanged it for better
They walked close to the Lord
Saw miracles of love, left marks

There are very few like them nowadays
Who truly walk close to the Lord
Who, already freed from their vices and sins, live as forgiven
Spreading salvation
These are the people who are strong, being weak
And, therefore, leave marks for others like me
To walk close to the Lord, see miracles of love
Step on marks

I want to step on these marks of value
Pay the price of someone who also agreed
To heed the same voice that calls today and says
Follow me!
And no matter what I have to leave behind
I want to take with me my so little faith
To share wherever God allows me to walk
His love
