La Dama Solitaria

Walking through the streets at night
Among drunks, thieves, and cars
Everyone follows her with their eyes
But she wanders as if nothing
Everyone calls her The Lonely Lady.

In her gaze, a note of sadness
She asks no questions and gives no answers

She's not in a hurry, she goes slowly
On a corner, she stops in front
And an emotion is evident on her face

They say that on that corner
Her lover lost his life
And since then, she lost her mind

Night after night, she goes and gazes
She clasps her hands and looks up
And a prayer escapes her lips.
