Bad Decisions
As time goes by, I was born
In Salamanca, Guanajuato
How to forget those good times
My brothers, I will never forget them
I grew up in the gospel and we went all the way to Merced, California
But bad decisions entangled me in drugs and away from Christ
In December 2004, at 24, I was caught selling drugs
Sentenced to 15 years
Justice was served, and they sent me to Minnesota
Then another sentence, now I serve here in Florence prison
Blamed for leading a strike and for killing a guard
And now here I am in prison, we are only four hundred
The worst of the worst and the biggest bosses of Mexican cartels
Sentenced
Now I only hope in God for a miracle to help me move forward
And a piece of advice I leave you today
Analyze your decisions well because there's no turning back
My family waits for me in Guanajuato, Houston, Texas, Atlanta, and California
I know the time will come
My mother lives in my memory
