They tell that Jesus one day was walking
By the blue lake of Genezare
And the crowd he ministered
His teachings of love and faith

With saliva and mud he healed the blind
By the old pool of Siloam

On a beautiful spring afternoon
He performed other miracles
In the holy city of Nazareth

It was the Good Jesus who taught me
By the blue lake of Genezare
Charity and light
Kindness and love
Truth and faith

Both on Mount Tabor, in Jerusalem
And in Bethany in Genezare
He was the way, the truth, and the life
As he still is
