Es La Nostálgia
Guadalupe Pineda
It's the Nostalgia
It's the nostalgia
a little bunch of soot.
A faint veil the color of indigo
a blue mirage
a time with the taste
of society
and as life goes on.
It's the nostalgia
a verse by Martí
the sound of footsteps
the echo of a violin
but silence is ultimately
who will give me its truth
and as life goes on.
It's the nostalgia
a little gray waltz
a vain attempt
to live again
and I search in the
paths, blind,
landscapes that are no longer there
and like yesterday never returns.
It's the eternal dance of nostalgia
of a lattice and a jasmine
and as life goes on
it's the nostalgia
a time I lost.
