In God's garden
a flower grew
that a hummingbird felt
flew over the earth
countryside of peace and war
but did not find its flower
but did not find its flower.

The hummingbird flew without looking back
towards God's garden
the rainbow flower
was not the one it sought
nor the one with the noblest scent
nor the one with incredible scent

The hummingbird cried behind the sun
for its beloved flower
but it dwelled inside its little heart
and could not see it, no
and could not see it
the one with the nectar of love.
