Concerto N°108
Guilherme de Sá
Concert No. 108
Unreason
Is having to stop spending
To have money to spend
Here is the sum of insipience
Because your fortune
Is not in the things you own
But in what you would never sell
Now, the one who sells themselves
Receives more than they are worth
And reveals their price
When they ask for a silver
Indeed, wealth and poverty
Failed to evoke happiness
But whoever is unable to be poor
Is not capable of being free
Yes
Life is small
If the little is not enough
For the miserable one who owns the world
And complains about the alms given to the destitute
Listen, if you wish to be great
Have a true friend
Then you can proclaim
The truth is mine
