Mar Bravo
Guilherme de Sá
Rough Sea
The world doesn't care
About the storms you found at sea
It wants to know if you brought the ship
Remember this when the storm comes
So see, you'll have to be strong
When no one else is there for you
They'll be busy
With their own shipwreck
They talk about you
Because if they talked about themselves
There would be no one to listen
And by not surpassing you
They will belittle you
Vanity has drowned narcissists
Who would never know which drop
Stopped their breathing
They discovered that the ways of the waters
Are cruel to sailors
Perhaps because the ocean
Hides too many mysteries
Whenever you think of giving up
Think of those who would love
To see you fail
Yes, life is tough
But it's fair and just
If not now, later
Justice doesn't fail
It doesn't end here
Where powers delay
And principalities are sold
As for you
If the rain depresses you
Don't provoke the storm
