The banquet is ready
Let's approach with faith
We are invited by Christ himself
To eat from his conquest
How beautiful the table looks
With its white and large tablecloth
And on it the tasty bread
That will sustain us
With the delicious wine
We will all toast

Today, Lord, we are hungry
For work, shelter, and bread
Give us your body and blood
Give us solidarity

Who accepts the bread and wine
Accepts communion
With the struggle and the path
Of Jesus in his passion
To offer also their life
In generous oblation
To give oneself entirely and without measure
In every step and action
With the people who rise
For their vindication

We thank you for this generous gesture, Lord
It is such a beautiful mystery
Your sacrifice of love
By giving yourself as food
In the harsh journey
Of your hungry people
Who strive to improve
Their living conditions
And to organize themselves

By eating your body and blood
The community lives
To move forward
Fulfilling your will
To distribute among all
The goods of creation
Being an example among the wolves
Of justice and communion
Being an example among the wolves
Of the great liberation
