You who are called the Paraclete
gift of the Most High God
living fountain, fire, love

Strengthen our weak bodies
with your enduring power
ignite the light in our senses
pour love into our hearts
Drive the enemy far away
and grant us peace right now
with you as our guide
let's avoid all that's evil
You who are sevenfold in gifts
finger of the Father’s right hand
Through you may we know the Father
and know the Son as well
May we believe in the Spirit
of both at all times
Come, Creator Spirit
Give joy and rewards
give gifts of gratitude
loosen the bonds of strife
bind us in peace’s pact
Glory be to the Father, Lord
and to the Son, who rose
from the dead, and to the Paraclete
forever and ever.
