Hiprogresía
Habeas Corpus
Hipocrisy
Damn that infamous and dirty part of the left,
that with the transition buried the hatchet.
Damn the promises and damn the excuses
of those who devised fictitious illusions.
Who has seen you and who sees you now.
Look at yourselves, look at what
you have become now that
you have money and you have power,
you have more than you can believe.
What happened to the old dream of all or nothing,
of the thousand strikes, of the long march,
of the new world you talked so much about,
of the faith in the people and the faith in the masses.
What has become of
all that in which
you believed,
if you ever believed in anything.
What has become of
all that for which
you fought,
if you ever fought for anything.
Hypocrites, bastards, hypocrites.
Who has seen you and who sees you now.
And now who decides to whom
you are going to give lessons and about what,
about honesty, or about integrity,
if you don't even know what that is.
What used to be criticism is now praise,
what was a crime is now worthy of praise,
of hippie progressives, of new rich
on the right path of socialism.
What has become of
all that in which
you believed,
if you ever believed in anything. (x3)
What has become of
all that for which
you fought,
if you ever fought for anything.
Hypocrites. (x3)
Yours had no,
does not have forgiveness. (x2)
It has no name, no,
but an explanation.
You said you were against the system
but today you are an active part of that same system.
You said you wanted to change everything
and if something has changed it has been you.
There was no more change than that,
than that which had to do
with what was then, and still is,
and is still your own interest.
Rot in that guilty conscience you have.
