The Music of God
God hears the voice of the wind.
When it blows on the mountains singing.
He likes it when the rain falls on the grass and produces a wonderful sound.
With a smile, he approves the praise that the waves have by the seashore.
With one voice, Creation sings the wonders of the Lord.
But the music of God, what He wants to hear.
Is the voice of a sinner exalting Redemption.
When Those He saved sing thanks for love.
He will prefer nothing else, all He wants to hear.
Is that tiny voice.
The angels sing glories when they say: 'Holy, Holy is the Lord'.
'Holy, Holy, Holy is the Lord'.
The heavenly choirs come to praise the name of Jesus.
Hallelujah, Hallelujah.
But He raises His hand and asks for a moment of silence throughout heaven.
And millions of angels hear a redeemed soul giving thanks.
For the music of God, what He wants to hear.
Is the voice of a sinner exalting Redemption.
When Those He saved sing thanks for love.
He will prefer nothing else, all He wants to hear.
Is that tiny voice.
It's not just harmonies He listens to carefully.
Nor only majestic arrangements that ascend to His throne.
For in every heart His blood redeemed, there is more praise.
For the music of God, what He wants to hear.
Is the voice of a sinner exalting Redemption.
When Those He saved sing thanks for love.
He will prefer nothing else, all He wants to hear.
Is that tiny voice.
Holy, Holy.
Holy, Holy.
Hallelujah.
Holy, Holy.
Holy, Holy.
Hallelujah, Hallelujah.
