Ao Ver a Cruz

Upon seeing die on the rough cross
In pain and anguish my Jesus
I understand to be a sinner
And my pride worthless

The hands, the feet, and the forehead in pain
Shed blood out of love
Oh! Holy hand! Wounded hand!
Desires to give me salvation

I give a thousand thanks to my Jesus
The love proven on the cross
Will sustain and guide
My life in the future
