Há Paz e Alegria

There’s peace and joy in the kingdom of light
In the homeland of the redeemed, Jesus leads us right
In the kingdom of heaven, there’s joy and peace
The children of God have true power, at least

There’s peace and joy in the kingdom above
The saved there sing praises to God’s love
Give glory to Jesus! For He loved us so
For us, His blood He poured out, you know!

Jesus has promised the Comforter!
The Holy Spirit, our guide for sure
He also promised, in the kingdom of heaven
A holy place, close to our God, a blessing

Grounded in the promise, so great and true
Now in this world, I enjoy the peace too
I await Jesus, to descend from the skies
And in His glory, He’ll welcome me, no lies.
