The Pilgrim on Earth
I am a pilgrim on earth
And far from my home
My soul longingly waits
For Christ to come and take it
Here there is only disbelief
The struggles have no end
But with Jesus' presence
Glory will be for me!
In the light of heaven I will rest

Having already believed in Christ
I will live only by faith
For God has promised me

The good Comforter
Gently guiding me
To the living fountain of love

He will have permanent joy
