In darkness, without Jesus, I saw myself
With a thousand sorrows and great pain
But Jesus called: Come, yes, come to Me
I want to be your Savior

In my soul reigns peace
Since I came to Jesus
I always have peace
And very true joy
For I have seen the light of God!

Through the great waves of perdition
I was surrounded in the high sea
Without a pilot in the hurricane
Who could guide me

And if you find yourself fighting
Without having effective help
Call to the Savior, call without delay
His grace is very true
