At the Calvary cross looking
I saw the Savior
Atoning for my sin
His love revealed

There at the source of this light
That brought me a flash
Was where I found shelter
Life, peace, and salvation

I saw Jesus crucified
Suffering such great pain
His blood was shed
For the poor sinner

O immaculate Lamb
Who died on the cross!
Deliver me from vile sin
O my Savior Jesus!
