Um Coração Bondoso
Harpa Cristã
A Kind Heart
A kind heart, yes, costs pain to obtain
To be gentle, loving, and holy in every being
Pouring new life into the heart gives light
And all my toil will be only in Jesus
Who wants to follow the steps
Of our father Abraham
In the heart, the ties will then break
Isaac is offered on the altar
Jacob, with great lament, buries Rachel
If the sacrifice is great, Isaac on the altar
Becomes a benefit for those who offer him
For it has deep calm and celestial peace
Also from God, it reaches real approval
In the pit, Jeremiah, laments great pain
In the darkness, he did not see the good comforter
Yes, great bitterness turns into pleasure
Angels from on high come to see the dreamer
Aaron was punished for his rebellion
And, sad, humiliated, accepts exhortation
Consecrate your life to honor God better
So in pain and toil, you need to guard yourself
Above dense clouds, the Sun always shines
Promises more immense cannot fail you
Put full trust in the one who cannot err
Jesus, without delay, comes to heal your pain
