Holy Bible, to me
You are my treasure, yes
You contain God's law
And show me beautiful heavens
You tell me who I am
Where I came from, where I'm going!

You rebuke my speech
You exhort me without ceasing
You light my path
And guide me, by faith
To the fountains of love
Of the blessed Savior!

You are the voice of the high heavens
Of the Spirit of God
That gives strength to the soul
When in affliction
You teach me to triumph
Among the dead, from sin!

By Your holy letter I know
That I will reign with Christ
I, who am so unworthy
By Your light, to heaven I go
