Do you hear how the Gospel gives us true salvation
And transforms the old man into a new creation?
I saw no good in me, only corruption
And tired of the struggle, in Jesus I found forgiveness

Like the dove that, tired, went to rest in the ark
My weary soul will rest in Jesus
But the raven flew away, landed on the dead
Will you now turn back to evil?

Jesus is my ark where I can rest
And from there, I can't even see the marks of evil
Oh, how sweet the call that Jesus made to me
Come, oh weary soul, come from darkness into the light

Sinner who is hearing the message of the Lord
You are welcome in the ark, in the refuge of love
For the waters of sin will soon reach you
Awakened by death, you will knock on the door in vain
