Wandering lost in this world
Drowning in your darkness
I trusted in empty promises
Had no God, no salvation

I wandered lost, but I found my way
Guided by the light
That I saw on Calvary
And it led me to King Jesus!

I was too weak to live
Had nothing left to hope for
When I saw a light
That came to shine on me

I fixed my eyes on the light and soon
I believed and felt so glad
I felt the joy of heaven too
When I embraced that light

I confess with satisfaction
That in this light I feel alright
Peace entered my heart
Because I found a shelter beyond

In the arms of Lord Jesus
I take pleasure in living
United with the saving light
That Christ came to bring me
