La Fede Una Volta Insegnata

For faith once taught
To the followers of the holy gospel
The strength given to me in Christ
I want to fight and be faithful

I want to go from valor to valor
Until the end following the Lord
From Christ receive in heaven
The crown reserved for the faithful

I want to wear God's armor
To fight and stand upright
In the battle, no matter how tough
I can surely defeat the enemy

In Jesus I am made a warrior
To suffer and fight always
And to be brave and whole
In the wars of our Lord

And one day I will also be able to say
I have fought and kept the faith
With the end of the race, the suffering
Has ceased eternally for me
