Whenever I can smile
I should be able to get by, they say
But every time I trip, my heart gets heavier with pain
Living to hide it all, I’m just worn out

When I want to cry, if I let my tears flow
Will I become stronger than I am now?

Even if I travel the world, I can’t find what I seek
Even if I reach out, I can’t grab what I want
The answers are always too far away
But even if the pain fades, it never really disappears
Still, people never give up on hope
I keep walking, clumsy as I am

Looking at my tired face in the mirror
I pretend not to see it and go on today
I can’t shake off these scattered feelings
But I can keep facing forward
