Me Vio
Hector Acosta (El Torito)
She Saw Me
Hey, what are you doing here?
Are you coming to see what’s left where
there used to be life? That’s what I said after a
kiss on the cheek. She whispered back, I loved you too.
She turned around, and I didn’t know what to do with the strength
that was left. I hugged her, but I couldn’t hold back my tears.
The tears and my hand clung to a dress that
I soaked with my tears. It hurt me to cry, and she could tell
that I love her more than yesterday... that I love her more than yesterday.
I told her, don’t go, take my life, I’m not asking for more, but she
looked down to avoid seeing me cry. I said, don’t
walk away. Again, take my life and more, but it can’t be,
I think there’s someone who makes her dream.

Feeling Colombia
There’s a fool waiting for her, filled with hope,
dreaming that it’s me, it’s been me, and another spring will come.
Full moon, but don’t imitate a gaze that’s not the same, it has no equal.
She’s beautiful and shines with her own light until the day she left.
I told her, don’t go, take my life, I’m not asking for more,
but she looked down to avoid seeing me cry.
I said, don’t walk away, again take my life and more,
but it can’t be, I think there’s someone who makes her
dream, who makes her dream.
