Heilung
Rune Poem
Wealth is a source of discord among kinsmen
The wolf lives in the forest
The worst is what comes from the east
The reindeer often races over the frozen snow
The thurs causes women's sorrow
Misfortune makes few men cheerful
Most people are deceived by that which is before their eyes
Although a man might be wary
The worst of all rides the horse
The best of all draws the sword
Ulcer is fatal to children
Death makes a corpse pale
Hail is the coldest of grain
Christ created the world of old
Need is oppressive to the heart
Yet often it proves a source of help and salvation
Joy (rune) is for him who knows little of woe
Ice we call the broad bridge
The blind man must be led
Harvest is a joy to men
I think Fróði was generous in giving
Sun is the light of the world
I bow to the holy decree
Týr is a one-handed god
Often has the smith to blow
Uunia, Runo, Sigurd
Fähig ani, Regina, Gunada

Birch has the greenest leaves of any shrub
Loki was fortunate in his deceit
Man is an augmentation of the dust
Great is the claw of the hawk
Lake falls from the mountain
A waterfall; gold is the strength of the hills
Yew is the greenest of trees in winter
It is wont to crackle when it burns
