O Decreto
Helem Pricila
The Decree
Daniel prayed three times a day
No obstacle stopped him
Whether rain or sun, even in a storm
There he was seeking miracles
Until a decree the king signed
Prohibiting prayers
But Daniel prayed
Thrown into the den, the den of lions
But he continued with his prayers
So I will keep praying even if the decree
Throws me into a den, or even into a desert
I prefer to believe that the archangel Michael
Will receive the order from the Emmanuel
And in the decree, the messenger will descend with victory
And I will see a change in my story
Prostrated at His feet I will continue
Doing the will of my King
The decree may forbid
Seeking Your face, O God, but I will persevere
To other gods, my Lord, I will not bow down
I will worship You, forever I will worship You
