Julius Caesar
Outside, it was snowing like crazy. A bit shy, she warmed her hands
by the meager fireplace. Julius Caesar had killed her husband because
he found him a disgusting figure, which the crocodiles completely
agreed with.
Her thoughts swam in the icy silence. She felt miserable, like
someone who missed the last episode of Peyton Place.
There was a knock at the door. A hard knock, a soft knock... "Who could
that be?" she wondered. A handsome man who would see Abraham in about
fifteen years stood at her door. It was her late husband's brother.
It was bold Brutus who was out for revenge. Politely, she let him
in and asked if he wanted a cup of tea. He was
Brutus drank tea for two. He told her about his naughty
plan to send Julius Caesar to the eternal hunting grounds.
Julius
would never see the sun rise again! And this was all because
Julius
was used to sleeping in.
After saying goodbye thoughtlessly, Brutus took the first
forest path he found, under the motto: 'All roads lead to Rome.'
She cried sadly as she watched him go. The realization that she would
lose him too bit her.
