Dios No Me Deja
Los Hermanos Zuleta
God Doesn't Let Me
I was born one ordinary morning
Back in my land, carnival day
But I already came with the star
To compose and sing to my pain
And when I want to falter
I feel that God doesn't let me
Then I start to sing
I give relief to my sorrows!
I have suffered a lot in this life
They would say it's a lie if I didn't sing
If pain killed instantly
No one would remember this man
It's a journey for me
High, divine lord
That which is born in the soul
Art, respect, and love!
He knew that if he abandoned me
No one would sing like I do
I have known how to fight the battle
We must not deny the existence of God!
He denied me sight
So that I wouldn't see
And in return, he gave me
The beautiful eyes of the soul
