Creciendo
Hernaldo Zuñiga
Growing
Growing like any plant
It was getting greener
In the time of the downpours
Love grew spontaneously, growing
There was a sea of white stars
In your black eyes
And desire shivered blindly
While you and I climbed to the sky, growing
Those beautiful hours flew
Full of words
And the heartbeat became more intense
In freedom, we fell in love, growing
Love comes at some point
But it's not abundant
Like hunger, violence, or the desert
If it touches you with the tip of the hand
Yours is the bread, the life, and the salt
Growing came the moment
To live contacts
We united skin and lips
So that the blood ignited, growing
And like a crazy paradox
The charm was lost
And suddenly the infatuation
Emptied out, was left soulless, dying
It's a curious anecdote
That I can't explain
In the simplicity of this whole story
The human mystery becomes evident, growing
