La Cantina
Hernan Gómez
The Cantina
I have nothing left but to buy myself a cantina
Where they don't kick me out at four, five or six
Where I can stay with friends
And drown the sorrows that make me drink
Where I can stay with friends
And drown the sorrows that make me drink
Who sells me a cantina
Hopefully well stocked
May the liquor last at least a year to drink
Because the sorrow I carry
Is only forgotten with liquor
And if the cantina is mine, no one stops me from drinking
We'll have to buy ourselves a cantina!
Hernan Gomez
Oh well, of course
Your deceit has hurt me and my relief is the cantina
There I calm my sorrows with women and liquor, seeking pleasure
Where I can stay with friends
And drown the sorrows that make me drink
Where I can stay with friends
And drown the sorrows that make me drink
Who sells me a cantina
Hopefully well stocked
May the liquor last at least a year to drink
Because the sorrow I carry
Is only forgotten with liquor
And if the cantina is mine, no one stops me from drinking
Who sells me a cantina
Hopefully well stocked
May the liquor last at least a year to drink
Because the sorrow I carry
Is only forgotten with liquor
And if the cantina is mine, no one stops me from drinking
