Someone messed up the streets
With mental hygiene prohibitions
Who separated the colors
Built the boxes you must occupy

Babel divided the planet
Locked up in its dungeons
The nerve of the south
The one who closed the doors
Raising walls that you can't jump over

Someone took in their hands
Everyone's hands
Confirmed their law
Who taught the doctrine
Wisdom that doesn't quench our thirst?

Babel planted flags
Sang anthems in different languages
The one who gives us tobacco
And sour wine to entertain us

Babel forgot that man is the wolf
