In the Wedding
If I were in the wedding
I’d get married and that’s it; (Repeat)
Even though I was a lovely guy
I got bored with the beauty
I did what I liked and now
I live in pain.
My lady, a beautiful woman
I got married back then, (Repeat)
There was no hope of changing
Not a single bit,
If there’s any luck at all
It’s often right beside her.
The corners are dirty, the kids are wild,
A child hanging from my arm; (Repeat)
With the worst kind of decoration
In the hole of her old skirt;
A big bottle for three little ones
Is right by her side.
My lady wakes up early
When it’s time for the party; (Repeat)
She gets a headache
Before she even starts working.
What would happen with you?
I had no fear!
