The Lord's Supper
As brothers, let us approach the feast of the Savior
This is the holy supper, a memorial of eternal love
The emblems we have today symbolize redemption
For God's sacrifice cleanses evil and brings forgiveness
Our wicked and vile sin brought pain and perdition
But God's deep love delivered us from slavery
As we think that this supper recalls Jesus' death
We see, indeed, our guilt; He was dead for us on the cross
Everything, in the end, of rough and sad, on that cross is undone
For us, there is only joy in God, which will last
We give thanks and praises, homage to the Lord
We have faith in His coming, His real and eternal love
