O Amor de Jesus

The love of Jesus is so pure and loyal
That brightens my life.
The love of Jesus frees me from evil
And envelops my poor being.
So gentle and so good is Jesus!
He guides me with His hand.
The love of Jesus is like a source of light:
He took me out of the darkness.

The love of Jesus is broader than the sea;
He sustains me in trial.
The love of Jesus, like the fragrance of the flower,
Floods my heart.
His peace gives me calm and pleasure,
I know there is a Heaven for me.
To Christ Jesus I will give my life,
For His great love, endlessly.

The love of Jesus remade my life
And gave me peace again.
Now, happy, I always want to follow
The path that satisfies.
Serving Jesus, my Lord,
With zeal and devotion,
I desire to speak and sing of this love
That brings light to the heart.
