Sitting at the feet of Christ, oh, what sweet communion!
The words I hear bring peace to my heart
Looking back at my past, when I'm close to Jesus
I see more and more his love for me on the cross

Sitting at the feet of Christ, his blessings are so many
I lay down my sins and he gives me his forgiveness
Sitting at the feet of Christ, I take my time to pray
I then feel the fullness of his grace and endless love

Oh blessed Jesus, kindly turn your gaze with love!
May I always freely behold your face

That I may show others, being your child and walking in the light!
