Cristo No Horto

Christ enters the garden alone, and bows down to pray
Sad, He raises His voice to God; He prepares to save us
What anguish while praying in pain!
His sweat turns into blood!
Take away this cup from me
Oh Father, if it is possible!

How much excruciating suffering the Savior endured!
See how much love for us, divine and Holy love!
He bore the cross on His shoulders
He willingly faced death and pain for us
But soon He rose in light
Becoming the victor!
