So thirsty, I searched the world
My soul, in vain, to satisfy
Then the Savior spoke to me
From this eternal fountain come drink

My chalice I raise to You, Lord
Come satisfy my thirsty soul
My life longs for Your love
Make my being overflow with this water

How many people are in search of pleasures
That the world can offer
They ignore the happiness
That in Christ, freely, they can have

Oh friend, if the things of this Earth
Only bring pain, disillusion
In Christ there is peace and joy
He is the source of life and salvation
