The cross that Christ, the Master, gave me,
Weighs less than love;
The pains that always afflict me
Do not separate me from the Lord

The cross that He gave me to carry,
The pains that come to afflict me
Do not hide my Jesus,
For I walk in His light,
I am overcoming towards Heaven

The world despises my Master,
And persecutes those of Jesus,
But, through love, through grace,
I will carry my cross
To do the will of Christ.
I am always willing, yes;
Telling the beautiful story,
I have endless joy and peace.
