See, Lord, this child,
Gentle, fragile like a flower;
Needs affection,
Needs love

His little eyes are so pure,
His smile is like light;
They show the beauty
That emanates from Jesus

Come guide his steps,
Teach him to walk
On the safe and good path,
And trust in your strength

Come deliver him from the evils
That this world can impose;
Dear Father, take care of him,
Give him your love
